What is the Vault?

American Bass's outlet for open-box and returned gear. Each item is priced according to its condition, below regular retail pricing.

Is it genuine American Bass gear?

Yes. Every item is a genuine American Bass or VFL Audio product.

Is it new?

No. Vault items are open-box or returned. They are not new and not refurbished.

Is it tested?

Yes. Every unit is inspected, function-tested, and graded by condition before listing. Items that don't meet our standards aren't sold. How we test

Will an item come back in stock?

Probably not. Most items are single units. New inventory is added as it comes in.

Can I hold an item?

No. Items aren't reserved until checkout is complete.

Condition

What's the difference between Open Box and Open Box + Cosmetic Damage?

Both are tested and working. Open Box + Cosmetic Damage items may show scuffs, scratches, or dings that do not affect performance, and cost less. Condition Guide

Where do I find an item's condition?

Condition is listed on every product.

Does it come in the original box?

Not guaranteed. Packaging may be opened, damaged, or missing.

Are accessories included?

Only if the listing says so.

Returns & Warranty

Can I return or exchange an item?

No. All sales are final. No returns, exchanges, or refunds. No exceptions.

Is there a warranty?

No. Vault items are sold as-is. The standard American Bass warranty does not apply.

Are there any exceptions?

No. Vault purchases are not eligible for returns, exchanges, refunds, or warranty coverage of any kind. Please review the condition of each item before purchasing. Refund Policy

Shipping

How fast does it ship?

Ships in 3–4 business days.

Do you ship outside the US?

Not right now. US addresses only.

Why did my order come in two boxes?

Vault inventory ships from two warehouses.

Buying

Can dealers or shops buy from the Vault?

No. Vault products are available to retail customers only.
